MenuEvo

MenuEvo is a SaaS product for restaurants that replaces classic paper menus with a digital, QR-code-accessible menu — with automatic AI translation into over 80 languages. Guests scan the code at the table, open the menu directly in their browser, and select their language, no app download required.

The product targets restaurants with a lot of international foot traffic and solves a concrete problem: the language barrier between guest and menu. Instead of printing and maintaining multilingual paper menus, the restaurant manages its menu centrally through a dashboard — prices, dishes, and availability can be updated live — while translation into any of the 80+ languages runs automatically via AI.

Menu frontend (React)

The actual menu the guest sees after scanning is built as a React application that loads menu data dynamically.

• Dynamic loading: menu content is fetched client-side via API, keeping initial load time minimal on mobile devices
• Real-time language switching: content is rewritten into the selected language without a reload
• Theming engine: a shared codebase renders different visual styles through configuration rather than separate code per design
• Mobile-first: built throughout for use directly on a smartphone at the table
• Live sync with the dashboard: price changes or sold-out items from the restaurant dashboard appear instantly in the menu the guest sees
